Marketing Manager - Melbourne

Our client is a global technology company whose products reach billions of people. They're looking for a Marketing Manager to lead marketing programmes across Australia - the kind of role where you own outcomes, not just activities.

This is hands-on work with real scope. You'll plan and execute campaigns that drive measurable results. From strategy through to performance reporting, you'll set the metrics that matter, own the execution, and report against them. You'll work with internal teams and external agencies to ship programmes that work.

What you'll do:

  • Own campaign planning and execution across the Australian market. You'll define success upfront - revenue lift, user acquisition, consideration, whatever the business needs - and then make it happen.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across creative, commercial, and product teams. You'll navigate priorities without constant hand-holding and know when to push back on scope.

  • Build and run campaigns that balance brand building with commercial outcomes. This isn't vanity metrics work. If it doesn't move the needle, you'll know why and adjust.

  • Report performance clearly. You'll own the data story and present it to leadership with confidence.

  • Partner with agencies on strategy and execution. You'll know what good looks like and hold the line.

Who you are:

  • You think in data. Campaign ideas mean nothing to you without metrics attached. You naturally ask "how will we know if this worked?"

  • You've owned a marketing campaign or programme end-to-end before. You know how to scope a brief, manage timelines, and ship on time.

  • You can talk to both creative teams and commercial stakeholders. You translate between them without friction.

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity. You don't need everything spelled out. You'll shape the plan as you learn what works.

  • You have a feel for the Australian market or have worked in a similar region. You understand local dynamics without needing constant context.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years in marketing or brand roles, ideally with campaign ownership

  • Track record of measurable campaign results - numbers matter

  • Experience working with creative agencies

  • Ideally, some exposure to technology, B2B, or products with scale

The role is based in Melbourne. You'll work in a team that values precision, ownership, and results.
