Business Development Manager: UK Agency Sales

Location: Hobart, Australia | Salary: £35,000-£50,000

Ready to build something from scratch? Lovelio is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to establish and scale our UK agency client base. You'll be the architect of our growth story.

What You'll Do

You're the first person UK estate and lettings agencies meet. Your mission: transform warm introductions into signed contracts. You'll own the complete sales cycle, from identifying the right prospects to closing deals and nurturing long-term partnerships.

Your day-to-day includes:

  • Prospecting and outreach to UK residential and lettings agencies, building a robust pipeline of qualified targets
  • Delivering compelling product demonstrations customized to each agency's size, pain points, and workflows
  • Negotiating terms and closing subscription or service agreements
  • Tracking activity meticulously, forecasting accurately, and hitting monthly and quarterly targets
  • Gathering structured feedback from prospects and clients to fuel product development

Who You Are

You're a closer with consultative skills. You understand that selling software to agencies means understanding their operational challenges. You're comfortable working independently across time zones (you're in Hobart, they're in the UK) but thrive collaborating with Brett, Product, and Engineering to solve problems.

You're results-driven, organized, and genuinely interested in how your feedback shapes the product. You take ownership, communicate clearly, and see obstacles as opportunities.
