Senior Sales Director

Our client is a recruitment software business with a SaaS platform that helps recruitment agencies work smarter. They're at the stage where they need a senior sales leader who can open doors, close deals, and build a credible sales motion in a specialist market.

You'll own the full sales cycle for new business. That means prospecting, positioning the product, navigating stakeholder conversations, and closing contracts with recruitment agencies across the UK. You'll also lead the Sales and Employer Partnerships team, shaping how the platform gets into the market and what sales motions work.

This is a player-manager role. You're expected to carry your own pipeline and close deals while building a team around you. You'll have a hand in product positioning, work closely with the leadership team, and build relationships with key players in the recruitment sector.

What we're looking for:

You've sold SaaS or software products to mid-market customers before. You know how to map an account, identify decision-makers, and navigate complex buying processes. You're comfortable cold-calling and generating your own pipeline, but you also understand how to build a scalable sales process once you find what works.

You're direct, confident, and you don't need much hand-holding. You've managed sales teams or mentored junior sales people. You know the difference between activity and results.

You understand the recruitment industry, or you've sold to niche B2B markets where domain knowledge matters. You know why an agency would buy this product, not in marketing speak but in real business terms.

You're analytical enough to forecast accurately and track what's driving deals, but you won't let perfect data delay you from moving the needle.
