Senior Sales Director, SaaS Recruitment Software

Our client builds software that recruitment teams actually use. They're past the scrappy startup phase but still moving fast, and they need someone to own sales growth across the US or UK market.

This is a senior role: you'll lead the commercial function end-to-end. That means building pipeline, closing enterprise deals, managing a sales team, and owning the revenue number. You'll report to the founding team with real autonomy.

What you'll do

Build and own a qualified pipeline of mid-market and enterprise prospects. You know how to find HR leaders and recruitment teams who have budget and need software that works. You'll manage the full sales cycle from first call through signature, and you'll close deals in the $50k-300k+ range without needing oversight.

You'll hire and manage a small sales team (2-4 people, growing). These are your people, and they'll reflect your approach: whether that's consultative, aggressive, systematic, or some mix. You'll set the rhythm, coach for results, and hold the line on qualification.

You'll also own recruitment partnerships and employer relationships - some deals come through direct sales, some through partnerships, and you'll work both channels.

Who you are

You've sold HR tech or recruitment software before. You understand the buyer - what they care about, who holds the budget, how they buy. You've closed enterprise deals without a script. You have a track record of hitting or beating quota.

You're comfortable with ambiguity early on (no playbook handed to you on day one), but you move fast and build structure as you go. You can code-switch: you're credible in a boardroom but you'll also jump into Slack and help a junior rep with a prospect question.

You want to build something, not just hit a number. You care about product fit and revenue quality, not just pipeline.

The money

USD 140,000-180,000 base depending on experience and background, plus equity and commission/bonus tied to revenue targets.

The location

US or UK. Remote-first culture with occasional travel for key partnerships and team meetings.
