Senior to Mid Level Data Analyst

London (Hybrid) | £120,000 - £150,000

Our client is a data-driven organisation looking for an analyst who can do more than pull numbers - someone who can shape how the business actually understands itself. This is a permanent role based in London with a hybrid working arrangement, sitting at a salary that reflects the seniority they're genuinely looking for.

About the Role

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insight. Day to day, that means:

  • Designing and maintaining dashboards and reporting pipelines that non-technical teams can actually use and trust
  • Conducting deep-dive analysis to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities that inform commercial and operational decisions
  • Working with engineering and product teams to define data requirements, improve data quality, and build the infrastructure that makes good analysis possible
  • Owning the full analytical cycle on key projects - from framing the question through to presenting findings to senior leadership
  • Identifying gaps in current data collection and measurement, and making the case for what should change

---

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience in a data analyst role - mid to senior level - with strong SQL skills and comfort working across large, messy, real-world datasets
  • Proficiency in at least one visualisation tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar) and the ability to build reporting that people outside the data team actually rely on
  • Experience working with Python or R for analysis beyond what SQL alone can handle - statistical modelling, automation, or ad-hoc investigation
  • Strong communication skills: you can explain a finding to a CFO and to a product manager in the same week without changing the substance, only the framing
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tooling (dbt, Airflow, cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake) is a genuine advantage

How to Apply

If this sounds like the right next step, apply with your CV and a brief note on a piece of analysis you're proud of - what the question was, how you approached it, and what changed as a result. That context matters more than a cover letter.
