Brand Manager - Full-Funnel, B2B SaaS & Consumer

📍 Sydney, NSW💼 Full-time

Brand Manager

Our client builds software for small business hiring - the kind of platform that used to only exist for enterprise, but now ships weekly updates and stays lean enough to stay affordable. They're looking for a Brand Manager who owns the full funnel: how people discover them, why they choose them, and why they stick around.

This role is part strategy, part execution, part measurement. You'll shape brand positioning and messaging, but you'll also run campaigns that move the needle on awareness and conversions. You're not a creative-only hire and you're not a performance marketer either - you're someone who can connect the dots between how the company is perceived and whether it actually converts customers.

What you'll own: positioning and messaging strategy, go-to-market campaigns, content that educates and converts, paid and organic channels, competitive intelligence, and translating product insight into customer narratives. You'll measure everything - pipeline influence, CAC, retention signals - and use data to tell leadership which bets are working.

You'll report directly to leadership, which means you have real influence. When you surface what customers actually care about through research and campaign performance, product decisions change. You'll also work closely with the founding team to make sure brand work and product work move in the same direction.

The environment is small, research-led, and async. You'll need to structure your own work, communicate clearly in writing, and ship campaigns without hand-holding. The pace is fast - weekly product updates mean you need to stay sharp on what's changing and find angles that matter to customers immediately.

Who this suits: You've owned brand or demand gen work end-to-end before. You're comfortable with both strategy and execution - spreadsheets and narrative. You've worked in B2B SaaS and understand how to build qualified demand, not just traffic. You have genuine affinity for small business as a customer segment (not dismissiveness toward it). You can write clearly. You thrive in lean environments where you own an entire function without a big team behind you.

You probably have 4-6 years of relevant experience - brand strategy, product marketing, or performance marketing in SaaS. You've shipped campaigns that moved business metrics, not just brand awareness numbers. You can defend every decision you make.

If you've worked in startups or fast-growing companies, that's a strong signal. If you've built something yourself - even a side project for a real business - even better.

Remote-first. Competitive salary and equity.
