Marketing Assistant

Remote

Our client builds workforce management software used by over 390,000 customers globally - from small hospitality venues to large healthcare networks. They help frontline businesses automate scheduling, time tracking, and payroll so their teams can actually focus on serving customers.

The marketing team is growing. We need a Marketing Assistant who can own the day-to-day execution of campaigns that drive awareness and customer acquisition for their rostering and scheduling product across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll run email marketing campaigns end-to-end in HubSpot: setting up sequences, managing lists, scheduling sends, and reporting on what's working. This isn't button-pushing - you'll be looking at open rates and click-through data and feeding back what's resonating with different customer segments.

You'll coordinate social media activity across channels - planning content, scheduling posts, and keeping the brand consistent. You'll work with the team to understand what lands with their audience (small business owners, shift managers, HR teams) and flag what's driving real engagement.

You'll support brand awareness campaigns from concept through execution - whatever that looks like in a growing software business. Some weeks that's coordinating assets for an event. Other weeks it's testing a new content angle or helping pull together customer stories.

Who You Are

You've got hands-on experience with marketing tools - email marketing platforms, social scheduling, basic analytics. You're comfortable learning systems quickly and don't need a manual for everything.

You care about outcomes, not just activity. You'll notice when a campaign isn't working and flag it, rather than just publishing on schedule.

You work well with a distributed team across time zones. You show up prepared, communicate clearly in writing (because remote), and don't need constant direction to move work forward.

A background in shift-based or operations-heavy industries is a real advantage - retail, hospitality, healthcare, logistics. It means you'll understand why customers care about this product, which makes your marketing sharper.

The Setup

This is a full-time remote role. You'll work with a marketing team that's lean and collaborative. The product itself is mission-driven - their founding story is literally a founder solving his own scheduling nightmare - so you'll be working on something that actually improves how people manage their workdays.

To apply, send your CV and a short note on a campaign you've executed (email, social, or brand awareness) and what you'd do differently next time.
